Diana Huie

Vice President of Operations

Diana Huie is a dynamic political operative, policy analyst, and communications professional with extensive experience spanning grassroots outreach, political campaigns, and civic engagement organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Electoral Programs for Islip Forward, Diana leads policy development, community advocacy, and volunteer mobilization efforts focused on equity, immigration justice, and economic opportunity.

Previously, she has served as Director of Operations for the John Mannion for Congress campaign, where she played a critical leadership role in coordinating multi-race field strategies, managing cross-functional campaign operations, and liaising with statewide coordinated efforts and national partners including the DCCC and NY State Democrats. Her earlier tenure as Deputy Campaign Manager and Director of Digital Communications on New York State Senate campaigns sharpened her ability to align political messaging with community needs, manage digital platforms, and lead high-impact field programs.

Diana’s comprehensive campaign experience includes work as a field organizer, GOTV lead, and communications designer. She has a proven track record of building and training volunteer networks, optimizing voter contact strategies using tools such as NGP, Votebuilder, MiniVAN, and SQL databases, and producing persuasive campaign visuals. As a freelance graphic designer, she continues to support advocacy and electoral efforts with original branding, print materials, and social media content.

Her foundation in public service includes roles in medical billing operations, multilingual outreach, and youth leadership, reflecting a career driven by a deep commitment to community empowerment, practical solutions, and inclusive civic participation. Diana is proficient in multiple platforms such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva, and is highly regarded for her critical thinking, adaptability, and collaborative spirit.

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Diana is a proud dog mom to a Dachshund named Morty and enjoys reading, hiking, and rock-climbing.
